How old does a pomeranian have to be to be pregnant? How long does the pregnancy last?

My pomeranian is 1 year old and in perfect health. She is a dominant dog (which is probably irrelevant). Also, could you give me more information on pomeranian pregnancy? Please give me the most professional advice! Details, please

Thanks!

My most professional advice is to spay your little pet.

WHY do you want to breed her again? Has she won any competitions and has a desirable temperament? Do you want to improve the Pom breed? 1 year is too young for pregnancy, at least two years old.

I wouldn't breed a dominant dog. Her puppies can be dominant and aggressive and it will be hard to socialize and handle them if she is dominant. She may even kill them because she won't feel they are safe if she is dominant. It is not smart to breed dogs unless you are a professional breeder. If you want more, get more, don't breed her but honestly even getting more would be stupid if she is dominant. Pomeranians are one of the top 5 breeds that bite humans, as it is they are hard to train.

You can breed her once she is two years old, you have a breed mentor, the dog has her breed championship and has had all of her health and genetic testing done. You will also need upwards of $1500.00 put away to pay for the emergency c-section that these small breeds usually need.

Umm NEVER unless you show her and have her health tested at 2 yrs old.

you will be risking the life of your dog if you aren't sure what you are doing which seems to be the case.

my professional advice is get her fixed
